Ada Baker is a senior regional vice president for the Financial Advisor Division within southern California and the Broker Dealer, Financial Advisor and Financial Institutions Divisions within Hawaii. Ada joined the firm in 2005 and is based in Fountain Valley, CA.

Ada has more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry. She has previously held positions at MFS Investment Management, American General, Planco/ The Hartford and Bank of America Investments.

Ada received her BA degree from University of California in Santa Barbara, CA. She holds her NASD Series 7, 63 and Life Insurance licenses and is a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Al Waterson is a professional Singer, Emcee, Actor and Recording Artist. Al's extensive background in music includes performing throughout Hawaii, on the mainland and in the Philippines. He was a featured singer in many concerts and performed with big bands and orchestras under the leadership of legendary bandleaders, Del Courtney and Willie Barton.

As an actor, Al has had many parts in the Hawaii-based television series, "Hawaii Five-0", "Magnum P.I.", and "North Shore", numerous parts in commercials and has done a large amount of television and radio voice-over work. Al's experiences as an emcee range from national conventions, the Governor's Inaugural Ball, celebrity events for people such as singer, Al Green and tennis star, Billie Jean King, the 2007 Narcissus Festival, many black tie events and wedding receptions. Al had recorded a duet with a major star in the Philippines which was marketed internationally. In Hawaii, he released a solo album consisting of ten love songs entitled "Songs in The Key of Love". He was privileged to record an original song written by world famous pianist, Martin Denny.

Al entertains at Don Ho's Island Grill at The Aloha Tower Marketplace on Sunday evenings, 6 p.m. til 9 p.m. Al Waterson's incredible vocal ability and fun personality combined with a truly professional style create an overall entertainer who is able to please all ages and all types of people.

WHO IS ALLISON IZU?

Well, my life has taken me places and helped to form the person that I am today, a fashion designer who is dedicated to creating clothes specifically made for petite women. I am 5' 2" and I face many of the same challenges that "vertically challenged" women encounter–hemlines that are too long, and pants that don’t flatter, basically–clothes that don’t fit!

I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, ironically named FIT, and somehow along the way – I became obsessed with fit. I realized that the fashion industry was designing clothing using a basic pattern for a 5' 10" fit model. Since I was not near being 5' 10", nor would I ever be; I thought, 'why don’t I make clothes to fit my shorter frame and in turn help all of my petite sisters along the way'!

WHAT IS ALLISON IZU, THE COMPANY ABOUT?

Allison izu, the company, came out of my own frustration with the fashion industry and my obsession with fit and details. I worked for two years creating my own basic fit patterns for petite women 5' 4" and shorter. And then, I decided to launch my first collection concentrating on a very difficult piece of clothing for every woman, denim jeans!

I not only brought up the hemline to a 31" and 27" inseam (usually a 35" inseam), I also created a proportionate waist-hipknee-ankle ratio. By bringing up the "knee break" I was able to create the long, lean look that we all yearn for. I also made subtle changes in back yoke proportions, pocket proportions and placement of details. I also re-design current silhouettes pecifically for the petite frame.

The company is also very me, so it is important to keep standards of high quality, and to keep a socially-conscious and environmentally-friendly mind set in all we do. The complete collection is MADE IN AMERICA, with quality materials from the USA, Europe and Asia. We also minimize the amount of fashion waste when we can, and create re-useable products such as hang tags, and reuseable bags. We are a company committed to our customers.
